🎯 What is compulsory shooting? - Procedure and rules explained
The compulsory shooting programme in Switzerland has a long tradition and was introduced as early as 1874 with the Federal Act on Off-Duty Shooting. It obliges all men and women fit for military service to take part in regular shooting exercises in order to maintain their marksmanship and strengthen Switzerland's military readiness.
